The Cultural Safety Standard & Unconscious Bias in Practice with Harley Eagle

In recognition of National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the Joint Collaborative Committees (JCCs) are welcoming back Harley Eagle, Indigenous Cultural Safety & Humility Consultant, for a webinar that will provide an introductory overview of one of our province’s foundational documents on Indigenous Cultural Safety: the BC Cultural Safety Standard.

On Wednesday, September 18, 2024, the definition of unconscious bias will be explored and how it can turn up in practice, and how the standard can help navigate us towards providing more culturally safe care.

During the event, attendees will have an opportunity to engage in a Q&A session and participate in discussions with the speaker and their peers. (A 60-minute, live Zoom presentation plus 30 minutes at the end for Q&A.)
